Israel booby-trapped and detonated pagers in Syria and Lebanon injuring many Hezbollah members and many regular civilians as well. The explosions mainly happened were there was a strong Hezbollah presence which further indicates an intentional attack on Hezbollah, these explosions occurred after Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, said to switch to cell phones to avoid Israeli tracking.
