The minister himself tweeted the video with the caption: "I read this morning that all sorts of "senior officials" in the authority didn't really like what I said to the arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti, may his name be erased.

So I will repeat it again and again without apologizing - anyone who messes with the people of Israel, anyone who murders our children, anyone who murders our women, we will wipe them out. With God's help."^[1]

The clip was criticized as "taunting" and “the epitome of psychological, moral and physical terrorism”.^[2][3]
