Jordan Drops Claims To The West Bank

Jordan had annexed the West Bank in 1950 and then lost control of it when Israel captured it in 1967. Jordan repeatedly tried to reclaim the land through secret talks but on 1988, King Hussein withdrew all claims to the West Bank.
