Tesla Announces Gigafactory

Tesla And Panasonic team up to create a Gigafactory, Panasonic will work on lithium-ion cells which would take up around half of the factory, while Tesla will manage the land and buildings. The goal of the Gigafactory is to reduce battery costs which in turn will reduce electric car prices which would enable mass market adoption of electric cars.
