The Madrid Peace Conference

The United States and the Soviet Union co-chaired peace talks about the Israeli-Arab Conflict. It brought together delegates from Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and a joint Jordanian-Palestinian delegate. These talks happened for two years but had little success.
