U.S. House Votes 422-6 To Reject Rep. Greene's Bid To Cut Aid To Israel

Greene's bid would have cut $500 million dollars in funding to Israel, she argues that Israel is already armed with nuclear weapons and can control it's defense by itself.

A notable "no" vote came from AOC, a Democrat who is highly critical of U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In response to criticism, she tweeted that the amendment cuts off only defensive spending while still allowing spending on bombs.
