Macklemore Says Kendrick Lamar Deserved A Grammy

Macklemore sends these texts after Kendrick Lamar loses to Macklemore at the 2014 Grammy's in "Best Rap Performance" and "Best New Artist". This was seen negatively due to him posting the text on Instagram, Kendrick talks about Macklemore in an interview with HOT 97, he says that he thought posting the text online for the world was uncalled for but he believes his heart was in the right place since he is a good dude. Ebro says that Macklemore told him before the show that he thinks he will win album of the year because he is a white guy who a lot of the higher ups at the Grammys would like but believed that Kendrick should win.
